Why You Need To Promote Your Content Even If You’re An Introvert

Let me ask you…

What if you have the cure for cancer and you know that it’s affecting a lot of people, would you share the cure with them?

The same is true with the ideas that you have in your head right now.

There are people who need the solutions that worked for you in your life, you may think that no one will benefit from it or that someone who has more followers than you can reach them already.

Or maybe, the people who have more resources probably run Facebook Ads about that already..

So why bother, anyway?

Because some people “your tribe” are the ones who will listen, relate and take action because of what they see from you.

But the blogging space is too crowded already, right?

There are 190 million actively hosted blogs around the world and sure that was a LOT. However, 99% of them play too small.

Meaning:

When you play small, you hide under the covers of your comfort zone, you only focus on what you know now and what you can do now EVEN IF what you’ve been doing doesn’t work.

The ideas that you have in your head can be turned into a blogpost, useful freebie download, digital product and services ONLY if you have the courage to pursue them and actually PROMOTE them.

Why do you even need to go out there and promote?

If you don’t want to share the solutions that you have and keep them all to yourself, you are practically stealing to those who need it the most.

Let that sink in for a moment.

After working with several bloggers, reading what other entrepreneurs went through and with my own experience, I’ve come to realize that the people who have potential fail because they….

discredit themselves…

don’t believe in themselves…

don’t value themselves so they think what they have to say isn’t worth sharing…

that promotion is for the sleazy salesman and not for creatives…

Is this you?

If so, can I encourage to take back the mirror and hand it over to the people who need your ideas other than focusing too much on yourself and your insecurities?

Because we all have them.

Those who push through, they don’t have it all together all the time they just DECIDED that their message and what they have to offer is far more important than the nasty voice in their head saying their not good enough…

If you’re feeling insecure right now, I encourage you to take action (regardless of how small) because that will help you build confidence in yourself.

It also helps to invest in learning so you stop figuring it all out all by yourself and avoid making the same mistakes.

Too many people love trial and error, only to find out several years later that there’s a much better, effective way.

Also, spreading yourself too thin will burn you out FAST.

You are probably tempted to hop on Youtube, IGTV or FB Live and more plaltforms because you see other people doing it and having great success at it…

But remember, if you’re having great success in one platform, go focus on that first before you jump to another.

Your blog will grow only when you take yourself out of the equation and focus on serving your audience no matter how small they may seem right now.
